Hey ya'll, I'm Tim 111

Web designer, painter, house sitter & musician

Here's where you'll find a taste of the talents and skills that I've been nurturing over the years. At first glance, they may not all seem related but really they are, especially when you know I value: Creativity, beauty, innovation, connection, service and improving peoples lives.

I create websites for small businesses that have proved their exceptional service to their local community. You’ve got the history, the trust, and the reputation. I create websites that carry that story forward—so new customers see what your regulars already know.

Websites that connect        and convert        In that order

Each website I design has a central focus of connecting to your customer, because real connection is what turns interest into action. Here's an example from a recent client, Kathleen Rehl:

Within the first 2 weeks of launching Kathleen's website, here's what was accomplished.

      107%

Click Thru Rate

The increase of people sent to Amazon to buy her book.

      5%

Bounce Rate

The decrease of visiters who left her site without interacting with it.

      15%

Site Visits

An uptick of people visiting her site overall.

"I highly recommend Tim Bray for website design and development. He transformed my outdated website into a vibrant, modern platform that truly reflects my mission and message."

Why do I focus on four         small businesses?

Because I’ve always been drawn to people who build something real and make it work.

For years, I worked as a user experience designer in the tech world, helping startups and large companies create websites, apps, and products that felt intuitive and human. On the side, I was perpetually trying to build something of my own; a wallpaper shop, a few SaaS tools, even a coaching business around relationships. I learned a lot with each attempt, but none of them really took off.

Looking back now, I can see why: I wasn’t being fully myself. I was chasing what I thought success should look like, following advice that didn’t fit, trying to look like I had it all figured out. I was pretending. Trying to build from a version of me that wasn’t real.

That’s why I’m drawn to small businesses like yours.

You didn’t get here by faking it. You showed up, stayed honest, and did the work. You’ve built something meaningful by staying true to your values. You don’t need a flashy brand to prove it.

I haven’t built what you’ve built yet. But if I can help more people find it, connect with it, and trust it, I’d consider that a privilege. And an incredible opportunity to grow as a human.

Let’s design something meaningful that makes a big impact.

Whether you need a fresh start or a strategic upgrade, I’ll help you build a site that does more than just impress, it connects you with the people who were meant to find you

From the colorful quirky, expression of Matisse to the tranquil meditation of Frankenthaler.

As a painter, I try not to overthink what I’m painting—I’m more focused on how it makes me feel on a daily basis. My last home was covered, floor to ceiling, in paintings. Every day, they gave me a vibrant, refreshing feeling. I hope you enjoy this collection—and if you’re interested, I’d love to paint something just for you!

House Sitting

Hire Me!

Have a great trip!

Expect wagging tails, taller plants, and a spotless home when you return.

I house sit for people who see their home not just as a place to live, but as a sanctuary. I know what it’s like to pour love into every corner of a space and every detail of a pet’s routine. I may be new to house-sitting professionally, but personally? I’ve been practicing this kind of care for years.

Hire Me!

I get it... Handing over your keys can feel like handing over your whole life.

I’ve been there. I spent 15+ years in Austin building a little palace I loved — complete with a sweet Sheltie named George and way too many plants.

The idea of someone coming in and breaking something, browning my plants, or leaving behind weird smells?

Yep… it kept me up too.

Here are a few shots of my home, my green babies and George looking pretty. 111

Here are a few shots of my old home in Austin, TX as well as my Sheltie, George.

Worried? You won’t be. Here's what you can expect.

When you get home, I want it to feel like nothing skipped a beat — your space still flowing, your pets content, your plants thriving. Just as bright and lively as you left it.

A soft touch for your houseplants’ happiness.

I follow your plant’s routine exactly — watering, light, and all the little details. My houseplants felt like family, and I’ll care for yours just the same.

Happy tail, full bowl, familiar routine.

I know dogs thrive on structure and love. I’ll keep the walks, playtime, and quiet companionship flowing just the way you do, so they barely notice you’re gone.

Your home stays safe, and your mind stays at ease.

Doors locked, lights set, alarms managed, instincts sharp. I treat your space with quiet vigilance, the kind you don’t have to think twice about.

Clean, calm, and cared for.

I move through your space with care, respect, and a little compulsive straightening. You’ll return to a home that feels refreshed, not just preserved.

You won’t have to wonder how things are going.

I’ll keep you in the loop with short, friendly updates; a quick pic of your pup, a note about the plants, or just a “we’re all good here.” Reach out anytime. I’m quick to reply.

I may be new, but I show up like a pro.

I pride myself as reliable, respectful, and the kind of person who double-checks the instructions and brings a lint roller. I care a lot and I think it shows.

Testimonials

Truth be told, I'm just starting out. So I don't have any official reviews at the moment. So I asked some friends what how they would feel if I were to house sit their home. Here's what they said.

"Tim has always amazed me with how well he’s kept up his living environment. He’s a designer at heart and sensitive to his surroundings and as someone who also puts extra care and thought into my living space I have no doubt, he will do the same for your space. He’s also a great dog caretaker! His dog George is always attached at his hip and he does such a great job of balancing discipline and love with him. I highly recommend Tim as a caring, diligent and thoughtful house/ dog sitter!"

“I’ve known Tim for about three years, and in that time he’s been a coach, a mentor, and a good friend. What’s always stood out to me is how he consistently shows up with honesty, care, and follow-through — not just when he’s working with people, but in everyday life. I’ve seen how well he takes care of his dog George, and based on the kind of person he is, I’d trust him completely with my home, my pets, or anything else that matters. He’s thoughtful, dependable, and genuinely pays attention.”

Tim is a one-of-a-kind guy and would make an excellent house sitter. I've known Tim for about 15 years now. He is a very respectful, kind-hearted, and patient person who I've always known to be responsible. He cares immensely for other people, pets, and plants. I spent a lot of time with his previous dog Chance, who was well-behaved and Loved Tim. He followed him everywhere he went. In these unsettling times, it's challenging to find trustworthy and honorable people to take care of my cats and treat my house with respect, but Tim would be the exception. Both my wife and I adore and trust Tim, and we highly recommend him.

“Tim would make a great house sitter. I’ve known Tim for about 8 years. He’s a kind, patient guy who cares deeply about people, pets, plants, and doing to right thing. I got to spend a lot of time with his previous dog, Chance, and that dog just ADORED Tim. Followed him everywhere he went. In this wonky world it’s hard to find people I would fully trust to take care of my cat and watch over my living space but Tim would definitely be the exception.”
Elaine

"I trust Tim with the life of my cat. What he lacks in his ability to fight off bears, he makes up for in his ability to tend to houseplants. I trust Tim with the life of my cat. Not your garden variety house sitter, he might be moonlighting for one of America’s leading industries, politely, from his laptop on your living room couch. This is honestly kind of a weird gig for him, so I’m lucky to have gotten the experience I did before he moved on to something greater. I trust Tim with the life of my cat. Every time I wondered whether things would get done with integrity, I felt relieved at the choice I made. It’s impossible not to be friend’s with this guy and those last two go hand-in-hand. Most of all, I trust Tim… to take good care of my home."

Tim is the perfect house sitter. He is observant and respectful of the space. His communication is clear and direct, so I always feel at ease, knowing that any surprise domestic issue will be handled and relayed effectively. I find him to be a positive, genuine person, who takes pride in his work. What’s more, he is just a cool person, easy to talk to, with a vast knowledge of culture and social dynamics. These are no minor things to consider when bringing someone into your private residence.

“Tim is a solid dude. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Tim for two+ years while we both lived in Austin, and I can confidently vouch for his character. He’s incredibly responsible, conscientious, and trustworthy — the kind of person you can depend on to take care of your home, pets, and plants as if they were their own. His dog, George is one of the happiest and best-cared-for pets I’ve met, and that speaks volumes about his consistency and care.”

"Tim lived next door to us for the last few years. We are sorry to see him move away.
He was a wonderful neighbor— kind, considerate, friendly, responsible, polite, quiet, neat and tidy. He worked hard to keep up his house and garden. Visiting the inside of his house, we were always impressed by how clean, orderly and pretty it was.He took excellent care of his dog, regularly grooming and taking him for walks. Communication with Tim was always easy, open and clear.
Having him here was an all-around pleasure. He is a dear friend whom we now miss."
